How to Stop Carrying Stress That Isn’t Yours

You are carrying things that were never yours to hold

Not all stress comes from your own life.
Some of it comes from people around you.
Their moods, their tension, their unspoken expectations.

You walk into a room and feel the air tighten.
Someone you care about is silent, so you fill the space.
Someone is angry, so your whole body tenses up before they even say a word.

Without realizing it, you absorb their energy.
Their stress becomes your stress.
Their overwhelm becomes your overwhelm.

And the heaviest part is, you don’t even notice it’s happening.
You just feel heavier. Slower. More drained.

But it isn’t all yours.
