I love the practice of checking in to actually see what you are feeling in the moment. It's such a great practice because often what can spiral us into overthinking is the avoidance of feeling uncomfortable things fully. Emotions can actually move more swiftly through us and transition if we don't avoid them.
I am a chronic Overthinker always feeling unsure of myself and guilty that I might have hurt someone’s feelings in advertently. I guess it comes from being criticized a lot as a child, but
from, it is a horrible uncomfortable feeling. I made a screenshot of the “You are not your thoughts”passage.
